Ventana Ballet drops a brand new holiday show: Frostbite! The Witch Who Melted Winter

Austin, TX—Austin’s favorite Hallow-Queen returns from the UNDEAD Woods to stir up some mischief in Ventana Ballet’s brand new holiday show, Frostbite! The Witch Who Melted Winter. The show will run from Wednesday, December 17th through Sunday December 21st, including 6 evening-length shows and 2 customized interactive kids’ shows for those guests under 12 years old. It’s an immersive holiday tale of magic, love, curse, & comedy.

The Witch from Ventana Ballet leaves the message on the company’s website that this is “snow joke” and intends to take things into her own “cold hands” while she attempts to ruin the holidays. Guests are invited to journey through this past October’s UNDEAD Woods and into a new realm, called “Winterland,” where they will meet the lead characters, Señor Snow, the Polar Bear, the Ice Unicorn, as well as many others, including penguins.

Frostbite will premiere at East Side Performing Arts (ESPA), Austin’s newest theater space that houses Ventana Ballet among many other local performance arts groups. Eight performances will take place between Wednesday, December 17th and Sunday, December 21st, with varying show times. Doors open at the times listed, and performances begin at approximately 30 minutes thereafter.
