An enchanting evening of love stories presented by Ventana Ballet & Austin Camerata in Variations on a Love Theme
February 1, 2026—Ventana Ballet & Austin Camerata enchant the ATX performing arts scene again with Variations on a Love Theme in their fourth annual co-presentation. An Austin favorite, this intimate show brings the audience up-close-and-personal with the art. Limited seating at each showing immerses the guests in an unforgettable experience, as they travel through 6 different love stories, just feet away from professional dancers, musicians, and poets.
“Each of the stories in this show invite the audience on a journey through various stories, or ‘variations,’ of love. Everyone experiences some form of love in their life, and it’s really special to explore that theme with our audiences in one of our favorite collaborations with Ventana Ballet— a unique and beautiful experience in and of itself,” shared Daniel Kopp, the Artistic Director of Austin Camerata.
New this year, Ventana Ballet & Austin Camerata present Variations on a Love Theme at the brand-new, East Side Performing Arts Center. Guests are invited to arrive when doors open an hour before showtime to immerse themselves in a live jazz piano performance and enjoy signature craft cocktails, like the "Love Potion." Guest seating is provided in three different “zones,” with plenty of VIP front-row and cocktail-table seating options. This private setting provides an exclusive up-close experience for every single guest in the room.
“This is one of my favorite shows, where we get to dance to captivating music onstage with a live string quartet. In such an intimate performance setting, the audience gets to literally feel the vibrations of the instruments onstage with us,” said AJ Garcia-Rameau, Director of Ventana Ballet.
